Who we are

This website (theworkbenchguide.com) is operated by Alex, Portugal ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@theworkbenchguide.com.

What data we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run contact forms, newsletters or analytics on this site. We do not set our own cookies.

Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages. When you visit, GitHub (our hosting provider) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information to deliver the page and keep the service secure. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.

Advertising

We advertise this site using services such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. When you click one of our ads, those platforms may process data about your click under their own privacy policies.

When you arrive from a Google ad, the page address contains a random click identifier (the "gclid"). We keep it only in your browser for the current tab session and add it to our affiliate links, so that if you buy, ClickBank can tell Google Ads that the ad led to a sale. This identifier does not include your name, email or payment details, and we do not store it on our servers.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site and go to the seller's or retailer's website (for example ClickBank). That site may set cookies to track the referral and will process your data under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated sales information, not your personal details.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can contact us at the email above, and you can complain to a data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD). If you are in the United States, you may have similar rights under your state's law.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
